New record Made Flesh comes out in March on LOAF Records worldwide. A bunch of other things happening around then too, tours, etc...

Oh and also on December 12 at the Stone, the ensemble Yarn/Wire (mem's Zs and Hi Red Center) will be performing my 2005 composition for percussion duo "Poison Darts". Rare performance, come check it...

At the end of the month Extra Life returns to the stage after a summer hiatus from full-band shows. In the fall we'll be playing some great shows around NY and working on new material. Extra Life-related projects will all be hitting hard, and brand new ones will be unfolding as well. Sept 17 look out for the premier performance of "School Shooting", Charlie Looker's new epic composition for brass, synthesizers, percussionists and two male singers.

In a few days we hit the road for the U.S. tour. We will be playing two or three new pieces. The first leg will be with the incredible Little Women, and the west coast will be with the amazing The Better To See You With. T-shirts will be available at shows and through Planaria Recordings. Then in May we tour Europe, with dates to be posted soon. In April, LoAF Records will be doing the European release of Secular Works on CD and LP. Wherever you live, Extra Life is coming for you.

Welcome to the new official non-Myspace website of Extra Life. Things are exciting right now. New material is in the works. in February we'll do a four-week U.S. tour. Then in May, we'll be hitting Europe for the first time. We'll be doing about three weeks over there, including Primavera Sound and other festivals. It's going to be deep.
